The Purple People Eater
On Saturday, the 4 of us girls ventured over to the Goodwill sale in hopes of finding a new couch for our lovely abode. When we arrived, we immediately spotted a very large textured burgundy couch. After further examination, we discovered that 2 of the seats on the couch were actually recliners. There was some question over whether or not the couch would fit in the car and through our front door, but we figured we wouldn't know unless we tried. It took 4 men to load the couch in to the Highlander. While loading the couch in to the car, we discovered yet another feature. The middle seat folds down to serve as a cup holder, food tray, and even potentially a booster seat. We couldn't fit the couch all the way in to the car, so one section of it was hanging out the back of the Highlander on the way home. I followed behind in my car with my hazards on. We drove down Broadway going about 10mph. Getting the couch inside the house was quite the task. The 4 of us just barely made it through the door and in to the living room with it. We were quite satisfied with our accomplishment. We got this gem for $30. Sweet deal. Are we a little too excited about it? Maybe. We now have a whole blog post dedicated to The Purple People Eater.
